Creative Philosophy
By chance, Ming Shieh began studying oil painting under the guidance of a teacher and soon discovered a deep sense of comfort and accomplishment in the process. Through layering and revising oil paint, a beloved image gradually comes to life. Deeply inspired by natural landscapes, Ming became especially devoted to small-scale paintings, where delicate scenes can hold the simple joys of everyday life. Through works created over the years, Ming hopes to share these quiet moments and invite viewers to find small yet meaningful beauty within ordinary life.
